Staffing and Training
The staffing level of the individual is determined by needs. Due to the high chronicity of the individuals Shura serves, staff ration is generally 1:1 or 1:2 in the community. In a few cases, the ratio is 1:3, and a few individuals have earned independent time in the community. All training will be in accordance with COMAR 10.22.02.11.
To be eligible for our vocational services careers and other jobs, applicants must meet the following requirements:
21 Years of Age or Older
In Possession of a High School Diploma or GED
Negative Results from Urinalysis
Pass Physical Exam with TB Screening
Acceptable Criminal Background and Driving Record Check (in accordance with COMAR)
